NikNik in the House!

Welcome our new family member in the house... named "Niknik". Ohhh... he's still a baby, very small around one and a half inches (body only). Niknik is a long-neck tortoise called Chelodina- an ancient genus from Chelid turtles native to Australia, New Guinea, and the island of Roti of the Indonesian archipelago. They are side-necked turtles, meaning they tuck their head partially around the side of their body when threatened instead of directly backwards.

Hubby bought him for P1,000.00 at the pet store in Cartimar.
