A memory foam topper is a very easy way to improve the comfort of your bed. New beds are very expensive - several thousand dollars - and even just a new mattress will run you up quite a bill. A topper is a bit of bed that goes on top of your current bed in order to make it softer or firmer. If your bed is too soft - get a topper. If your bed is too firm - get a topper. Or if you just like a little extra comfort in your bed then a topper can be a very convenient way to get there. Memory foam toppers are some of the most popular types of toppers that are around. It's because everyone loves memory foam. They actually create a mould of your body. If you press your hand into some memory foam then you will leave an imprint of your hand that will slowly return to the flat, normal shape of the foam.
One answer is to re-use mattress materials as much as possible. In a mattress recycling center the foam, fabric, and wood are separated, baled, and sold to manufacturers. Steel is recycled at a scrapyard or re-used to fabricate other steel products.
Memory foam mattress do not have inner coil springs that can break and work their way through the top of a mattress. This can pose a danger of sticking or cutting someone who happens to roll over a broken spring while sleeping.
King size mattresses, also celebrating their 50th year since they were introduced by the Simmons Company in 1958, measure 76" x 80." King size mattresses, also known as the Eastern king, is wider than the queen by 16." In order to get an idea about how wide a king is, try pushing your two Desi and Lucy twin beds together (this should equal the 76" in width) giving you a good representation of the king's supremacy. If you have a hard time remembering that a king is wider than a queen, just think of King Henry VIIIhave you ever seen that guy's portrait? As for height, however, the king and queen reign equally at an even 80."
