An uncomfortable mattress can be the difference between a good nights sleep and a bad nights sleep on your bed. Poor sleep could lead to things like dreaming about eating a giant marshmallow and waking up to a missing pillow and feeling a little down in the mouth. Avoid this situation by picking the right mattress and you can get you the restful sleep you need and deserve.
Of course toppers do add a little height to your bed. If your fitted sheets are stretched as they are they might not be able to fit on the bed any longer. You may need to get extra sheets if you decide to add a topper. If your sheets are important to you, check if they will fit before buying the topper. Most sheets will fit with a stretch and some toppers aren't quite the size of the bed to enable easier fitting. It is something to be aware of.
Whatever mattress you choose, whether it is a Sealy, Jamison or Kingsdown mattress, take your time in choosing it. Buying a top rated mattress is an expensive business and you will also spend a third of you life sleeping on it; two important reasons to make sure your happy with your decision.
Memory foam by definition is quite a dense material. It needs to be - otherwise it would simply be a normal bit of foam. It's almost impossible to make a lightweight bit of memory foam. However the stuff does come in different densities. They usually range in density ratings from about 2 pounds to 5 pounds or more. The higher the number, the denser the design of the mattress topper. The denser the design the longer it will take for a mould of your body to be created. This leads to the 'firmer' sensation of a firm memory foam mattress topper. A lower density will lead to you sinking into the topper faster.
